The beauty of Steven’s own home says a lot about who he is, how he works and what he loves. You can see this in the stunning art that adorns the walls of his own home, a unique blend of modern and traditional design elements. His exquisite taste in art goes hand in hand with his passion for great architecture and his strong sense of place. The Napa Valley architectural influence, for example, reflects his love of California wine country, where he and his family vacation every year.
What inspires him is variety: working with different architects on different architectural styles for different clients. Steven believes the best work derives from taking a personal approach with each client, listening carefully to their vision and dreams. Once he gets a sense of that, his pursuit of perfection takes over and he goes to work. What excites him most about the industry? The ever- changing technology and its influence on process and outcome.
Kevin Streeter

Kevin got into the business on the ground floor-his own. Streeter & Associates started out in the basement office of his Minneapolis home. And even though he’s been in the business almost a quarter of a century, he’s still inspired by the opportunity to work on unique designs and build distinctive homes. He loves seeing the possibilities of each client’s vision, and working with passionate people to bring all the details to life with style and taste.
Kevin appreciates all architectural styles, but his love for modern architecture is demonstrated in his own home. Raising the bar to new heights and doing what’s never been done are the things that keep him motivated. He’s also what you might call an industry techie and is fascinated by the way technology has made the building process more effective and efficient. When he’s not working, he’s working out. Kevin loves yoga, Nordic walking and snowboarding. Not to mention riding his Harley, which he parks in a specially designed area of his home.
Donald Streeter

The oldest of the Streeter brothers, Don is a seasoned builder who loves working with new people and new designs. What inspires him is a good challenge-great designs and nailing tough projects. It’s the variety that keeps him fresh. What does he like best about his day-to-day work? Building long-term relationships with co-workers and clients. “I want the clients to feel like they’re getting the dream they came to us for.”
When he’s not working, Don enjoys spending time with his daughter. He’s her No. 1 fan at basketball games. They also enjoying swimming and boating together during the summers. He loves to travel, particularly to the Caribbean, where he has been a frequent visitor for the past 20 years. He finds the climate and the culture inspiring. So inspiring, in fact, that he’s built the look right into his own home, which has a distinctive contemporary Caribbean look and feel.
Justin Streeter

The youngest of the Streeter partners and the newest to the business, Justin is inspired by clients who raise the bar. Though he’s a family insider, he spends most of his time as an outsider. That’s because he loves the freedom of being outdoors, working in the field. What he loves most about the industry is the opportunity to build some of the most incredible homes in the world using the industry’s most advanced methods and materials.
While he doesn’t prefer one architectural style over another, he’s definitely into the details. He’s fascinated by the way design details-landscaping, building materials, lighting, color palette-all add up to create what he calls “the big picture.” These are the elements of design that create style and infuse energy into each home.
